The future will never be what we have imagined,
but what we have become ready to accept.

She who never makes a mistake, probably isn't doing anything.

Today's failure makes possible tomorrow's success.

Happiness is an inside job.

Although life brings storms, growth and a harvest always follow.

Our attitude, more than our aptitude, determines our altitude.

Life is full of cactus,
but you don't have to sit on it.

I'm so glad you've stopped to visit.

Let me tell you something about myself.

I live in Norridge, a suburb of Chicago, IL, USA. I have two cats (Pecana and Margo), seven finches (five African green singers, an Australian red-faced star, and an African blue-capped Cordon Blue) and one canary. I love the green singers (Serinus mozambicus). See this YouTube video!

I enjoy many things: collecting dolls, taking pictures, setting up photography scenes of Robert Tonner's Ann Estelle and her Friends and Smurfette, Papa Smurf and others in Smurf Village, knitting, sewing, crocheting, reading books, playing piano and cello, raising finches, canaries and cats, improving my computer competency, surfing the net, finding paperdoll links, gardening, cooking and baking.
